The Muslim answer to Uncharted: Unearthed – Trail of Ibn Battuta

Now this is interesting. Semaphore who are Saudi Arabian video game developers have decided to make their own action adventure game called Unearthed: Trial of Ibn Battuta. From the title screen to the mechanics it’s clear that this game was heavily inspired by the fantastic western developed Uncharted series. While the game looks extremely rough and is bordering on plagiarism, I have to applaud the Muslims for taking a step into the 21st century by developing their own video game. Check out gameplay below.

I couldnt stop laughing when I saw the title screen. While the animations are choppy and the voice acting is borderline horrible, I must give the Saudi based developers for committing to this and actually making a working, playable demo of it.

If this game is properly released. I’ll buy it solely to support them. Well done boys.
